RICHARD AND KC BACK IN EACH OTHER’S ARMS IN “WHEN I MET U”
 Following the success of their first team-up, Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion are back in each others arms in Regal Entertainment and GMA Films’ much awaited and highly-publicized Valentine movie this 2009 - When I Met U.
Richard and KC, both prized talents of two giant networks, reunite as a love team to star in the upcoming film slated February 11. Not only are these two undeniably hot onscreen but they also impressively captured the brand of romantic charisma the audience and most especially their fans fell in love and look forward.
When I Met U is a mesmerizing romantic movie about unexpected love that blossoms between two people who are fraught with the same complexities in their respective lives. It echoes the message of finding love from unexpected places…a love that is forever and real.
In the film, Jenny (KC) is an unpretentious mall promodizer who searches for true love. A hopeless romantic, she seeks to find a love that is real and not tainted by pretence. Her quest for genuine romance leads her to Benjie (Richard), a struggling cargo pilot who answers her heart’s desires and offers her the love she truly yearns.
An unlikely romance begins when Jenny hitches a ride with Benjie to attend a wedding in Palawan. While onboard the plane, both openly show their dislike for each other but when the aircraft crashes in an unknown island, the two turn to each other for comfort and eventually absolve their differences.
Will there be a lasting relationship between these two star-crossed lovers? Knowing that love is not about what is right but what is real, will Benjie and Jenny survive the odds of their relationship?
When I Met U is under the helm of award-winning director Joel Lamangan and aspires to be one of those sweeping romances this Valentine. The chemistry of Richard and KC onscreen is palpably strong and there is definite attraction between the two. Anticipation is high for this movie event since it will take a long time before the two, who belong to different production outfits, star in another film.
There has been a strong clamour and brewing excitement among fans and moviegoers who have been looking forward to this much- anticipated Valentine offering of GMA Films and Regal Entertainment.
