With nearly 50 years in show business, Regal Entertainment celebrates its milestone with an air of  royalty – a movie from one of its most successful Regal Baby Judy Ann Santos in “Oh My Girl!”

With a lot of movie projects in line, Mother Lily Monteverde, Regal Entertainment’s founder and owner, chose Judy Ann Santos’ “OMG!” as its banner project for this year. One reason is that it signifies what Regal Entertainment is all about making movies and makings its actresses or actors shine as Regal Babies. The other is her belief and trust on Judy Ann Santos as one of the greatest actresses in her generation making her a perfect Regal Baby.

“She made it big with ‘Sana Naman.’ And I would like to think that was her launching movie under Regal Films,” shared Mother Lily. “Since she started working with Regal Films, we always had a good working relationship. Not only is she a good actress but she is also very dedicated to her craft and is very professional!”

“OMG!” is also an aptly choice for moviegoers because it is a light yet uplifting movie. It is a simple answer to whatever crisis people are experiencing today because it is a movie that would surely put a smile on its audience face after they watched it.

Judy Ann Santos also stars in “OMG” with Ogie Alcasid, an unlikely match for the actress who is regularly paired with “heartthrob” actors or matinee idols.

“One thing I like about Judy Ann is that she can be paired with anyone because of her talent. She’s a star but she is more of an actress who knows how to blend in situations especially in different roles she portrays. She is really my baby and she is a regal Baby in my heart,” Mother Lily smiled.

She believes that the multi-talented Ogie Alcasid has a superb chemistry with Judy Ann Santos in “OMG!” And that theirs is a successful tandem in the making!

Judy Ann in “OMG!” plays Darling, a famous actress. While Ogie Alcasid works for her as her personal assistant. Unknown to Darling, Ogie Alcasid was her childhood friend. If she didn’t recognize Ogie was because he had to disguise himself as a woman so he could work for her and rekindle their lost friendship.

“’OMG!’ is a movie that would touch your heart and it will tickle your funny bone. It is a very good movie to celebrate Regal Film’s Golden Anniversary this year. And it is our gift to the Filipino people,” expressed Mother Lily.

Directed by dante Nico Garcia from the script of the group called Originate, “OMG” also in the cast of “OMG!” are Manilyn Reynes, Roderick Paulate, carmi Martine, John Prats, Sheena Halili, Jon Avila, Carlo Aquino and Frenchy Dy.
