Trust master filmmaker Direk Maryo J. delos Reyes as he has the eye and the gut feel for real star potential and now, here he is, launching the tandem of Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal in the big screen via Regal Films' newest offering "NANDITO AKO...NAGMAMAHAL SA 'YO."
"I have always seen the potential of the Aljur-Kris team up since they won in Starstruck," said Direk Maryo. "Aljur has very expressive eyes and Kris has the charm which endear them to the public."
It was Direk Maryo that megged their first television starrer "Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin," and "since then, both Aljur and Kris have transformed to be sensitive actors whether on the small or big screen," stressed Direk Maryo.
"They are very cooperative on the set and very open to learning," continues Direk Maryo who was able to convince the two to shed off their teeny bopper stance and go more daring and provocative in their new movie, "I am just so happy to be instrumental to their growth as actors."
