POLO & JEAN WILL MAKE YOU FEEL YOUNG-AT-HEART IN "LOVING YOU"
Studiomax through Regal Entertainment presents Jean Garcia and Polo Ravales in the ultra-romantic flick "Loving You." This time the pair that caught the attention of the audience in the GMA top-rater "La Vendetta" plays sweethearts who are torn apart by their differences in ambition, lifestyle, schedules, and age.
Polo plays Tom, a trainor at a call center, while Jean is Cyril, a creative director at an advertising agency. Tom met Cyril in college where she was his teacher. Sparks flew and after graduation, the campus crush blossomed into a fiery affair.
Unfortunately, love is not enough to make a relationship last. Reality started setting in: They couldn't make time to be sweet; while Cyril had just wrapped up work at the agency, Tom would be off to the call center. Cyril disliked the fact that Tom was messy and obsessed with action figures. Tom felt that Cyril was ashamed to introduce him as her boyfriend because he was younger. But, as they say, 'age doesn't matter.' How the Cyril-Tom romance turns out will certainly delight hopeless romantics regardless of age or status.
"Kung sa 'La Vendetta' away kami ng away at ma-drama kami ni Polo, dito naman sa 'Loving You,' marami kaming kilig moments!" Jean giggles. To prove her point, Polo volunteers that for the first time, he and Jean share quite a number of passionate scenes, including one where they're skin-to-skin inside a steamy and tiny shower stall, and another at a soft and bouncy love seat where Tom and Cyril were caught by Cyril's conservative mom. Kudos go to director Don Cuaresma for executing these and many other scenes to dreamy perfection.
The screenplay of "Loving You" is written by Fairlane Raymundo, from a story that Direk Don developed with her. The film is produced by Studiomax and released by Regal Entertainment. Aside from Jean and Polo, the cast includes JC de Vera & Yasmien Kurdi, John Prats & Ehra Madrigal, Aljur Abrenica & Kris Bernal, introducing Brent Javier and Eri Neeman. "Loving You" opens in theaters nationwide on August 20. Loving you is lovingly supported by Tanduay Rhum, Jobstreet.com, Bench, Etelecare Global Solutions and IFM 93.9.
